Christmas night

Christmas dinner was a big contrast to the Christmas eve dinner at the Sofitel. I think we almost forgot it was Christmas. I spent the night in the Huanxing tulou. There was a single light bulb in the room and the bed was very hard. The toilet was a communal pot outside the door. I went to bed around 8:30 pm. When I woke for the fourth time, I was so relieved that it was finally morning… only to find that it was only 11:30 pm.
